Shamanic Journey and Drum Circle Spring Equinox Shamanic Sound Journey and Drum Circle. As stewards of the land, in the face of great challenge it is our responsibility and calling to step in, unite and become co-creators of an abundant, thriving, and vibrant planet. Join us as we call in our ancestors, tune in to the vibration of the heart and ask for blessings on a hardy, healthy and bountiful planting season. You are welcome to bring your drum, your rattle or the greatest instrument of all, your voice! Sing, dance, smile, laugh, cry and gather with community. All donations will support Pingree farms which is an integral part of the sustainability of our landscape. Pingree Farms, situated on the southwest corner of I-75 and 7 Mile Road, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to neighborhood revitalization and youth education through urban agriculture. It seeks to turn vacant and blighted land into an urban food oasis while providing meaningful educational opportunities for Detroit’s young people. The vision for Pingree Farms Foundation is to expand to become the center of youth agriculture education while providing healthy food options. Urban agricultural is not going to save Detroit, but the people that are stimulated by it and educated from it will. We will meet in the goat yoga barn of which is heated, has bathroom facilities and adequate parking. Please bring a comfortable seat of your choice (chair, blanket, yoga mat-keep in mind we are in a barn, there is hay and dirt!)
