WOBURN, MA — Woburn's coronavirus two-week average positive test rate fell to just 2.76 percent over the last two weeks, the lowest level in months, according to the latest town-by-town report from the state released Thursday. The test rate was 3.62 percent in last week's report. The city reported just 144 coronavirus cases in the last two weeks, or 24.8 daily cases per 100,000 residents. Last week Woburn reported 195 cases in an equivalent period. The city is again conducting coronavirus testing at the Senior Center Saturday. >>MA Town-By-Town Coronavirus Stats: 66 High-Risk Communities Forty-four cities and towns dropped out of the high-risk category in Thursdays report, as a dramatic recent fall in cases continued. The seven-day average positive test rate for the state fell to 2.13 percent, the lowest level since early Nov. Statewide case counts, hospitalizations and deaths also all fell over the last week.
