Description

ATLANTA — Starting Monday, Georgia will open four mass-vaccination sites located near minority communities in Fulton, Bibb, Dougherty and Habersham counties. The Fulton County location will be at the Delta Flight Museum near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. Other locations are the Macon Farmer's Market, the Albany Georgia Forest Sites, and the Habersham County Fairgrounds in Clarkesville. The new sites aim to administer 22,000 COVID-19 vaccines a week, said Gov. Brian Kemp, who added that they should be able to "scale up quickly" from there once more doses are available. Vaccinations at the new sites are available by appointment only. To pre-register, visit Georgia's new myvaccinegeorgia.com website. Those who aren't currently eligible can sign up at the website to receive email updates.
