FOR Energy is hiring!!! We are a licensed contractor, specializing in assisting homeowners become as energy efficient as possible. Through participation in the Home Performance with Energy Star program, along with APS and SRP, we help customers improve their attic insulation, duct work, and windows. As a growing company, we are looking for new Team Leads to be the face of our company and lead our install crew to success. Lead Installer Job Duties: Conduct daily team huddles to insure techs are informed of job scope, duties, and materials needed. Review jobs scope to make sure the correct materials are in stock and going to the correct jobs. Ensure proper time-clock usage from techs on your team. Perform pre-inspection walk through with customers. Assign task to techs on site and confirm they completed their task correctly when done. Perform post-inspection walk through with customer to ensure the completion of job. Responsible for training new techs and continual training for all techs. Able to perform and train techs on all of the following tasks: (1) Foam and seal all voids and crevasses in attic. (2) Duct seal, Seal air handlers, registers, start collars, and plenum boxes. (3) Replace return grilles and filters. (4) Re-Ducting/Duct Retrofit, install plenums, and start collars. Properly stretch and strap duct during installation. Install and seal TY’s. Cut in and place new supply boxes and registers. Seal connections properly. (5) Install insulation to R-44. Strategically place measuring sticks throughout the attic visible from attic access. Learn to clean and maintain insulation blower and hoppers. Build sturdy attic dams to prevent insulation from building up on attic access lid. Ensure the crew leaves jobs professionally clean, vacuum, and dust all areas of work site. Make sure the crew cleans out the trucks after each day and keeps the warehouse organized. Turn in completed job scope at the end of the day and communicates all issues and concerns to Production Manager and/or assistant. Energy Efficiency Lead Installer Job Requirements: 1 year of construction lead, or construction management required Reliable Transportation to Work (transportation provided once on site) Comfortable Working in Attics in Arizona Heat Problem Solver - that can adapt on the fly Ability to Work in a Fast Paced Environment Team Leader - face of the company on site Team Player Takes Direction Able to lead by example *HVAC and Insulation experience is a bonus but not required* Job Type: Full-time 40+ hours a week Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour depending on experience
