We are seeking a RELIABLE, HARD-WORKING individuals for an entry-level position in our manufacturing area. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. • Be able to lift, push or pull up to 200 lbs. with the aid of equipment. • Be able to communicate orally and in writing. • The employee must be able to read at a level of comprehension sufficient to meet job requirements. Responsibilities: • Collect ingredients from allocation for the orders. • Put dry ingredients into tumbler to semi-mix color, and then transfer material to manualized mixer so material is completely dispersed together. Or mix liquid color for prescribed time until the batch is completely mixed. • Provide a sample and the batch ticket to quality control. • Make any corrections and remix if deemed so by quality control. • Make labels for the order with the proper lot number/color information, apply to bags and packing boxes, put product in bags to required weight, remove air from bags and seal bags with heat sealer and package all bags in labeled bags and pack them into shipping boxes, secure them and place on pallet for shipping. • Ensure all paperwork is complete before moving order to shipping. • Maintain a safe and clean work space. • Must adhere to all safety policies and wear personal protective equipment.
