We are a stone fabrication company, looking for a field superintendent to manage the Tile and Granite departments Essential Functions: Supervision • Supervises all technicians/installers. Schedules daily assignments; and conducts brief meetings to ensure project completion. • Maintains employee time records; updates activity status in software to complete in a timely manner to process weekly payroll. • Communicate and resolve any payroll issues with technicians/installers immediately as situations arise. • Provides installers training and guidance to ensure quality is met per customers and company expectations and considering industry standards • Complete inspection of each unit when completed to ensure proper installation. • Review project documentation, work orders and shop drawings provided by the company team and effectively communicates with the technician/installer the installation requirements; outline route prior to installation. • Ensures that all extra work has approved change orders from either the customer or company team. • Communicates with customers and follows up until issues that arise on site are resolved. • Ensures effective operation and maintenance of company and rental equipment. • Completes monthly inventory sheets. • Schedule and coordinate with Purchasing and Project Manager based on “Master Schedule”. • Inspect project site prior to any delivery to identify and designate proper storage area and equipment needed for the project. • Ensure safety unloading of materials and ensure accuracy upon receipt of materials. Safety: • Is responsible for holding weekly job site safety meetings. All meetings are to be in writing and turned into the HR Department on a weekly basis • Attends project site, safety meetings and training sessions provided by customer relevant to the project. • Ensures technicians/installers are following safety procedures and utilizing safety equipment • Enforce all company safety rules, take disciplinary actions from written warning to the termination of ; work closely with HR regarding these matters. • Notify HR Department of any emergency situations and occurrences of employee accidents or injuries. • Supervisor must have a minimum of OSHA-10 training in the construction industry. • Attends project site, safety meetings and training sessions provided by customer relevant to the project. • Ensures technicians/installers are following safety procedures and utilizing safety equipment • Enforce all company safety rules, take disciplinary actions from written warning to the firing of employees who violate safety rules; work closely with HR regarding these matters. • Notify HR Department of any emergency situations and occurrences of employee accidents or injuries. • Supervisor must have a minimum of OSHA-10 training in the construction industry. ** Offices sites in Jurupa Valley but jobs will be perform in LA Area *** *** Email resume to [email protected]
