Red Dot Storage is looking for an exceptional person to join our team fulfilling a unique position as Self-Storage Maintenance/Property Manager. Our Facility Supervisors handle anywhere from 2-10 properties and will be provided the tools and vehicle they need to maintain these self-storage facilities. They do not supervise people, only the facilities. This opening will initially be responsible for 6 properties: Shreveport, Alexandria, Greenwood, 2-Monroe, 2-West Monroe. Why Red Dot Storage? · Flexibility in your schedule · An amazing company culture and exciting environment Here is a quick glimpse of what your day may look like: Self-Storage Maintenance Side: · Driving to and from assigned properties · Performs unit checks at all assigned properties · Performs property repairs and maintenance (Reset Kiosk, clean out units if needed, etc.) · Preps units that come up for auction · Adds and removes overlocks for delinquent tenants · Completes task list provided by manager Property Management Side: · Ensures property maintains professional curb appeal · Collects and sends customer kiosk payments into corporate office · Oversees contractor activities (landscapers, painters, etc.) · Partners with Customer Service Agents on scheduling various customer needs · Completes task list provided by manager The Ideal Candidate: · Positive attitude · Excellent communication skills · Property maintenance experience (schools, apartments, self-storage, commercial buildings, etc.) · Self-starter · Reliable and excellent time management skills · Strong organization of mobile office · Strong safety orientation · Basic mechanical and computer skills · Possess and maintain valid Drivers’ License · Possess and maintain clean driving record and background check · Ability to meet physical demands of the job (frequent driving, heavy lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, kneeling, etc.) · Must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends · Must be able to travel to quarterly and annual meetings at different locations across the country, required to fly if over 5 hours away COVID-19 considerations: We are fully stocked with cleaning supplies, and our facility supervisors are routinely disinfecting the doors, keypads, Rental Centers, and kiosks.
