Katniss and Meezer These two girls showed up together at a friend’s house in Waverly about a month ago. Poor Katniss had terrible mats at the time and her medium-length coat is now growing out and it’s beautiful. Poor Meezer had an upper respiratory infection which has been treated and she’s now recovering. The caretaker reported that Meezer took all her cues from Katniss, including following her over to food.....I’m thinking that perhaps Meezer, who is barely a year old, took to Katniss as a kitten would to a mother. Whatever the reason, they have a bond and are looking for a home together. Katniss is a lap cat.....she loves to climb up onto your lap, or your back if you’re laying down on your stomach. She’ll sit with you until you tire. She’s a beautiful, affectionate girl, a purrfect companion! Check her out! She’ll need some TLC. She was so happy to be inside, out of the cold and getting her kitty cold tended to. Meezer is a Siamese mix with one brown and one blue eye. She’s petite weighing in at about 5.5 lbs. She’s scheduled for her spay and vaccines in a week. Their ideal home would be one without dogs or other cats.
