Beef Northwest Feeders, a progressive cattle feedlot operation has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Mechanic at its Nyssa, Oregon operation. -Up to $5,000 Sign on Bonus - This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work in a family-owned operation that cares about leading and growing people. A Lead Mechanic ensures proper operations of machinery by performing preventative maintenance and repair of all rolling stock implements in the feed yard. Other duties include locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and assisting technicians in proper diagnosis and equipment repair. The Lead Mechanic will also be able to work with vendors in identifying and anticipate needed supplies and placing orders. The ideal candidate will have:  Mechanical aptitude to help troubleshoot, order parts, and lead a team of mechanics.  Excellent safety skills and awareness needed  Must be a team player  Good communications, organizational and leadership skills.
