Description
On Saturday, November 21, 2020, at approximately 11:30am, our black female pug, Tengu, escaped our home and we have not been able to find her since. She was last seen near 600 E. Cape Horn Road, in the Cape Horn area of Colfax, around noon – running Northbound on the side of the road. We think she was picked up fairly soon thereafter for the following reasons. Her absence was noticed quickly, and friends/neighbors were looking for her in the area that she was last seen. We have spent weeks searching the area for her remains, signs of an attack, circling vultures, and haven’t been able to find anything that leads us to believe she was eaten. We’ve posted signs in our area and these have been removed several times. It is for these reasons we are led to believe someone picked her up and has decided to keep her despite the large reward we have offered.
Tengu was born 4/11/19 and was not yet spayed or chipped. She weighed approximately 19 pounds, is completely black with a white blaze on her chest that is about 2” in diameter. She was/is an integral part of our family and we are heartbroken without her.
If you have any information about where she may be, please contact me.
