Job Store Staffing is seeking a Material Handler for a large printing company in Denver. This is a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate. Essential Job Functions: • Reads instructions from the work order form and through the direction of the 1st pressman sets or assists in the set-up during make-ready of the delivery end of press. • Performs all duties as directed and assigned by Press Operator or supervisor related to the make-ready of a press. • Assists when required any skilled and qualified personnel who are performing preventive maintenance on press such as lubrication, replacement of small parts, replacement of rollers etc. Also works in conjunction with maintenance man to keep equipment in good running condition, as directed by the Press Operator. • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. The normal shift for this position is a 12 hour shift, and the incumbent in this job must be able to stand for the entire 12 hour shift. • Due to the nature of our work and our reputation for service, employees are expected to stand ready to work overtime when requested. The work week is typically 35 - 50 hours per week. • Lifting is a requirement in this job. The incumbent in this job must be able to lift 40-50 pounds regularly. Material handlers will remove finished product from binding machine and stacking and palletizing printed publications for shipping. This is an overnight position, 6PM-6AM.
