The Locator is responsible for identifying, locating and marking underground utilities to prevent damage or disruption of service due to construction activity. Typical utilities to be located are telecommunications, electric, power, cable TV, gas, water, sewer and private lines. Additional responsibilities include reporting, documentation, training reading of maps and blueprints and work with landowners to identify objects that are unlocatable, private lines and or not on One Call system.
