Staff Zone a leading staffing service in maintenance and construction work are currently hiring for garbage collection helpers. Helpers collect garbage and yard trash on an assigned route as a worker on the back of a garbage truck. Minimum Applicant Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred; previous relevant work experience is preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. This Job Comes With Physical Demands: Tasks require the regular and sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and that generally involves lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials 21-50 pounds. May occasionally involve heavier items (up to 100 pounds). Worker must also be able to withstand the daily environment to include summer heat, winter cold and rainy days. Other requirements include must be 18 yrs or older, have valid ID(s) to work in the US and have your own work boots.
