Kelly services is in need for 2 experienced Material Handlers in Gainesville, FL Mon-Friday 8-5pm Pay Rate $13.00/hr Summary: Receiving, moving, and shipping materials within and between the Operations departments and and outside vendors. This person will assist in developing and implementing process improvements, and ensuring that all quality, compliance, and safety objectives are met. This person will support other Operations Material Handling employee activities and other departments, while managing resources responsibly, efficiently, and safely. Duties and Responsibilities: _Understand and follow all SOPs for the Receiving Area and Material Handling Area. All product or process non-conformances are documented and/or brought to the attention of the Lead Operations Material Handler, team leader or designate for disposition. -Understand and train new employees in Material handling operations and process controls -Receive product from outside vendors, including raw materials, components, implant, instrument and biologic finished goods, chemicals, RMO, distributed products, equipment, supplies, and maintenance items. -Support manufacturing operations by, transporting, staging, and inventorying raw materials, pulling and issuing work orders, prepping WIP for outside process, and receiving work orders. -Support Planning by pulling and issuing outside vendor work orders, prepping WIP, receiving work orders, and shipping raw materials to outside vendors. -Support Packaging operations by transporting and inventorying WIP, packaging materials and supplies, by assisting in pulling and issuing work orders, and by monitoring and maintaining staging location inventories. -Support Biologic tissue production activities and security by receiving, controlling, and shipping component and raw material inventories and by controlling the work order component movements and outside vendors. -Support technical services by storing and transporting chemicals. -Support Quality by transporting inspected items to other buildings or locations. -Support Sales and Marketing by compiling and shipping items to various locations. -Support other departments by investigating and reconciling inventory, material and/or purchasing issues. -Support other departments by transporting items between buildings and departments via forklifts or other company vehicles.
