We are a local landscape and lawn maintenance company serving residential customers on the west side of Portland and in and around the Beaverton area. We are rated among the top companies in the lawn maintenance industry in our area and are looking to find the right person to help us continue our growth. Experience is preferred and level of experience will impact starting wage. Benefits of Working Here Include (after 90-day probationary period): - Two bonuses per year (mid-summer and end of year) - Pay for 40 hours/week, even during winter months of December-February when work slows down and fewer hours may be worked - Paid time off - All waterproof work gear (such as footwear, jackets, pants) are provided by our company. Job Responsibilities Include: - Understanding and upholding quality standards of the company on a daily basis - Operating mowers, trimmers, blowers, pruners, aerators, thatchers, chainsaws, sprayers, etc - Driving GMC or Chevy 3500 landscape dump trucks with single axle trailers attached - NO CDL required - Picking up landscape debris (such as leaves in the fall) and dumping into back of dump truck - Managing daily maintenance routes in absence of supervisor, as needed - Interacting with customers on occasion in the absence of a supervisor This position has a LOT of room for growth and development up to and including management responsibilities. Requirements include: - Must have a priority on working safely - Valid drivers’ license and appropriate legal documentation to work in the United States - Clean Driving Record - Must be reliable and on time - Must be able to work 8-10 hours per day regardless of weather conditions - Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs - Must work well with others - Must be able to operate in an alcohol/drug free environment Compensation: Starting at $18-$20/hr, depending on experience, and then reevaluated after a 90-day period.
