Description
The OHSU Community Research Hub, in support of OSU-Cascades faculty, are reaching out to rural Deschutes County residents. The title of our project is: Preparedness Across Cultural Divides: Building Resilience after COVID-19.
We are scheduling virtual discussion groups to be held during the 1st & 2nd weeks of March 2021 and are specifically interested in the opinions of those who;
• Are over the age of 18
• Live in rural towns or areas of Deschutes County (not Bend)
• May lean or vote Republican
• Are essential workers (grocery stores, gas station attendants, wait staff)
• Are essential workers who are young adults (up to age 30)
• High income stay-at-home parents
For those interested in joining this project,
• you will be involved in a group discussion session (aka focus group),
• the focus groups will last from 60-90 minutes,
• these groups will be held and recorded through Zoom (video and/or audio),
• NO identifiable information will be collected and
• group participants will be sent a $25 gift card within 7 days of participation.
