Stream restoration/ tree planting in WV

Join Archewild to restore 3 miles of stream bed at Frozen Camp in West Virginia. We will be planting thousands of restoration trees and shrubs for anywhere from 2-5 weeks. The duration of this project is not fixed and is subject to change. Temporary employment is available for all or some of that duration. Part-time or segmented work is an option. We could use your help! Here’s what you need to know: WHEN* Approximate Job Dates: 4/5/2021 – 4/30/2021 Projected Work Schedule: Weekdays from 8 AM – 5PM *Job Dates and Work Schedule are subject to change and are not guaranteed WHERE Job Site: Frozen Camp, Gay, WV (38.810810, -81.513367) Lodging for non-local employees: Statts Mills RV Park, Statts Mills, WV *Team members may rotate on differing schedules and may not all be present on the worksite at the same time or in the same rotation TRANSPORTATION* Transportation will be provided by ArcheWild for non-local employees. The primary Frozen Camp Team will depart from ArcheWild’s main office in Quakertown, PA in ArcheWild vehicles. *West Virginia residents within an hour’s drive will be responsible for their own commute. ACCOMMODATIONS Lodging will be provided by ArcheWild at the Statts Mills RV Park in Statts Mills, WV for the duration of the project, for those in need.
