We're currently looking for someone to help maintain our tenant properties in the Buffalo/Kenmore area. We are a small company here in Buffalo that places value in tenants and our properties- and we're looking for someone to join us part-time. There are a total of seven (7) properties that will need attending - The properties are primarily residential/tenant buildings, and one commercial single floor office building. We are looking for someone who can work just a few days a month (dependent on need, maybe more, maybe less), as we accumulate a list each month of incidents that need to be attended to - and if possible, be on-call if needed (but not a must.) The duties may include: —Repair Plumbing Fixtures Repair issues with plumbing systems. Replace or install faucets, toilets, and hot water tanks. Fix garbage disposals, dishwashers, and washing machines, which are all are affected by plumbing issues. —Electrical Repair Repair and replace power switches, fuses, and wall sockets. Troubleshoot electrically powered appliances such as ceiling lights, ceiling fans, climate control systems, and garage doors. —Painting and Drywall Repair Apply new coats of paint to minor touch-ups and damage repair on walls. Keep properties visually appealing by using drywall to fill in small holes and cover-up normal wear and tear. When renters change apartment units, add a fresh coat of paint to get the apartment ready for a new tenant. —HVAC Repair Responsible for fixing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. When these systems fail at apartment complexes, they are immediately called upon to help make residents comfortable again. In some cases, there may be a need to replace an HVAC system altogether. —Managing Property Exterior Appearance Help to maintain an attractive appearance at all times. Addressing many aspects of community presentation, including picking up trash and fixing any needed outdoor repairs. At times there may be a need to mow grass, pull weeds, remove leaves, trim trees, and water lawns-light bulbs to keep outdoor pathways well lit. We are a caring group of people, and hope you are too!
