Description Green Mountain Electric Supply is looking for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate in our Berlin, VT Office location. As a Driver / Warehouse Associate for Green Mountain Electric Supply, you are the face of our company and one of the most important links in the customer service chain! This position helps drive our business by creating customer loyalty through outstanding customer service and accurate, safe, and timely deliveries of customer orders. Our drivers are expected to communicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and the general public at all times. Great people skills, professional behavior, and clean appearance are required as you interact daily with our customers. At Green Mountain Electric Supply, meeting customer needs is first and foremost. A GMES team member needs to be a highly motivated individual that learns quickly, is self-driven, and pays attention to detail. Start times vary from 5:00 am - 6:30 am Job Responsibilities Include: Checking delivery orders and loading delivery vehicle in the most efficient way for delivery route Planning most effective and efficient delivery route based on both customer needs and locations Entering delivery tickets into system to create and print delivery manifest before leaving the warehouse Daily scanning of signed delivery manifests Completing customer return forms Completing daily pre and post-inspection of delivery vehicle Responsible for daily, weekly and routine delivery vehicle maintenance, as well as communicating when the vehicle is in need of repair Will perform general warehouse responsibilities prior to departure each evening Strive to create/maintain a safe work environment, at GMES safety is a #1 priority Listening to customer feedback and relaying this information to supervisor and salesperson(s) Requirements Clean Driving Record Must be comfortable driving a 26-foot box truck Current drivers license Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
