Description
Job Description: • Receive incoming goods • Loads and unloads trailers • Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received • Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system • Accurately pick materials for according to production’s needs by reading make sheets and/or through oral instruction • Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information • Fills work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line • Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment • Communicate with associates from other shifts • Clean pallets prior to use • Sort broken pallets into separate area • Maintain a clean and safe work area • Complies with all safety requirements Qualifications: • Must have a valid driver’s license • Forklift experience preferred • High school equivalent or equal preferred • Ability to self-start and work independently is critical • Good organizational skills • Flexible hours and ability to work overtime when needed • Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • Pre-employment drug screen including marijuana required • This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required • Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others Benefits: • $500 signing bonus o $200 after first 60 days o $300 at the end of 6 months • Annual attendance bonus o $1000 at each yearly anniversary with no absences/tardiness/disciplinary action • Bi-weekly bonus o $50 on every bi-weekly check ($1300 possible annually) when no absences/tardiness/disciplinary action are incurred • 100% paid Medical, Dental, Vision o 50% paid for all dependents • Health flexible spending account • 401(k) with matching up to 4% • Paid holidays after 6 months • Paid vacation after 1 year • Life insurance • Employee discount on products
