View posting at www.amkpm.net/jobs Job Title Part Time Office Assistant and General Handyman $10/hour base rate $15/hour on site rate for maintenance calls Job brief We are looking for someone assist with office work, conduct inspections, undertake upkeep and repair tasks of the interior or exterior of company premises, general cleaning for office/rentals/vacation rentals, ability to be sent to maintenance request for simple maintenance projects. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job. Ability to multi-task and manage your own time and schedule. Responsibilities • Answer Phones • Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting etc. • Perform maintenance and light repairs • Perform routine landscaping on the grounds • Assist tradespeople with repairs • Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shoveling snow) • Identify and report the need for major repairs • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Communicate with Tenants/Guests • Inspect properties • All other duties as assigned Requirements • Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment • Basic math skills • Good communication ability • Well-organized and apt in problem-solving • Strong Attention to detail • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required • Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines • Efficient organizational and multi-tasking abilities • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and maintenance teams • Reliable transportation • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
