4G Ranches is hiring a full time ranch hand to help manage 2 guest ranches, near Fredericksburg, TX and Austin, TX. You will be spending 2-3 days/week at each ranch with significant drive time between them. The ideal candidate would live mid way between the properties, near Dripping Springs or Johnson City. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Mowing and Maintaining Grounds around Guest Cabins and Facilities - Clearing brush - Managing Landscaping and Construction Projects - General maintenance and repair of guest houses, barns, and farm equipment - Building and repairing fences - Feeding animals - Cleaning stalls and pens - Filling wildlife feeders - Assist with the long term goals and plans for both ranches Farm and Ranch or Construction Experience Preferred Requirements - Good driving record and reliable transportation - No criminal history - Must be comfortable working with cattle, horses, chickens, exotic game, and other farm animals - Ability to work independently and unsupervised This is a full time, long term farm and ranch position with health benefits after 90 days and paid vacation time after the first year.
