The Wisconsin Union is seeking a Custodian Lead to join our team. In this position you will lead and guide 2nd shift custodial staff. Under the general supervision of the Custodial Supervisor, this position will provide custodial maintenance and security of Memorial Union, training and direction of 2nd shift custodial crew. Application of knowledge of current methods, equipment and materials to improve the economy and efficiency of the maintenance program. This position is eligible to receive differential pay for nights and weekends: -Compensation for hours worked over 40 in a workweek is at “premium time” (one and a half times the regular hourly rate). -Night differential of $0.80 per hour for all hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. -Weekend differential of $0.80 per hour for all weekend hours worked (i.e., work hours between 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and 12:00 midnight on Sunday).
