This will be a leadership position within our Sams Club distribution center. The lead will be responsible for organizing the team, meeting production standards, handling minor disciplinary issues, and keep open communication between our team and the customer. 4th Shift: Friday ¿ Sunday 4:30am until job completion; 12+ hr shift
Job Responsibilities
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT · Retains and reviews warehouse documents and business metrics. · Responsible for successfully organizing and executing the daily workflow plan to ensure hourly associates obtain the daily order volume and deliver the expected customer service. ASSOCIATE MANAGEMENT · Supervises and coordinates staff and operations in a logistics distribution environment, plans and assigns daily work, trains employees, and has authority for discipline and performance decisions · Oversees daily activities of employees working in various areas to ensure daily work volume and service level meets production standards. · Responsible for coaching employees on production performance, quality standards and productivity.
Stand, walk and lift up to 50lbs for 12+ hr shift Supervising Experience (preferred) Warehouse Experience (preferred) Skills: Proven work experience in a warehouse Leadership skills and ability to lead warehouse staff Strong multitasking skills and critical thinking Excellent communication skills Solid time management and detail oriented Knowledge with office applications (excel, outlook, etc.)
