"Bakersfield Bound" plays classic country and lively country rock, with an emphasis on the West Coast "Bakersfield Sound" of Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Dwight Yoakam, etc. The band members are highly experienced musicians and known as some of the top country musicians in the Midwest. "Bakersfield Bound" has recently performed at Boot City Opry in Terre Haute, was twice the headliners at "Radio Radio" music nightclub in Indianapolis for their "Tribute To California Country" concert, has been a headliner and frequent performer at "Duke's Indy" honky tonk, and has appeared on television! There are five members of the band - pedal steel guitar, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, electric bass, and drums. We have four vocalists, and we offer sharp instrumentation along with tight vocal harmonies.
