Helpmates is currently looking for a Material Handler for a company in Anaheim. The Material Handler performs an array of functions that may include picking and packing orders, receiving and shipping incoming stock and materials, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Material Handler Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Prepares orders by pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in staging or delivery areas · Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards · Maintains inventory controls by assisting in cycle counts or physical inventories · Prepare Bulk shipments · Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat · Wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment Material Handler Qualification Requirements · 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred · Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills · Dependable and Reliable · Physical demands and abilities · Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50lbs; occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 lbs. · Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl · Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance · Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
