GRANITE AND QUARTZ FABRICATOR Job Description: The responsibilities of our Fabricators are to laminate, grind, and polish various stone countertops. The duties also include fabrication on various edges, inspecting the final product for any imperfections and to ensure materials are installation ready- quality is a top priority. The Fabricator needs to be detail oriented and self-motivated. Pay will be commensurate with experience. We need applicants who are consistent, reliable, and personable with customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Grind, laminate, and polish objects; fabricate and polish edges with portable power tools • Operate the line polisher • Polish materials according to specifications • Correct defects, fill small chips and complete touch ups • Inspect work to ensure work products meet desired standards and quality expectations • Clean equipment and worktables; maintains condition of work area • Load and remove work pieces from worktables • Work on a team and communicate thoroughly; adhere to all company safety policies and procedures • Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, ABILITIES / REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum of 2 Years of granite / quartz countertop fabrication / installation experience • Experience with cutting and polishing intricate edges • Must have ability to read and work from shop drawings and diagrams • Must have the ability to recognize fabricating issues • Experience with portable pneumatic and hand tools to cut, grind, fabricate, and polish various types of stone products • Have a working knowledge and understanding of the use of different products and solvents used for fabrication • Must be able to lift 75lbs • Good communication skills, honest, ethical, and hardworking. Stable, responsible, self-motivated, and detail oriented • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Must have reliable transportation COMPENSATION: This company offers competitive wages, medical benefits, paid holidays, and vacation.
