Vocalist/Keyboardist wants to start up a Blues band

Hello everyone. Hope you all have been doing well during the pandemic. I have been a keyboardist and Hammond Organist for a couple of decades, for everyone else, mainly other blues and R&B bands, and large churches. But now, I'm finally stepping out to fulfill my dream of having a blues band and performingas our own. And for the longest time now, between late last year and now, I have been trying to get a band together. But between work schedules, and the pandemic itself, people had to back out. So I would like to keep trying and looking until we get it pieced together. For the band, I want it to be set up as the following: Me as the front/lead vocalist Bassist Drummer A fluent keyboardist 2 versatile guitarists who can both alternate between soloing and rhythm/chords To the keyboardist, just because I play keys and organ myself, does not mean that I will be some bossy asshole, trying to poke you around just because keys is my instrument. I'm not like that. And I say that to all of the band. I'm open minded, and I want this to work and work well...not just for a couple of days or weeks, but a band that works together whenever we play and perform. The guitarists should be VERY strong in bluesy riffs, runs and guitar chords. I do desire to work with skilled musicians who can play in EVERY key and keep good musical time, able to be blues, soul, and Americana music oriented or at least be able to adapt. No beginners. I don't care if you smoke Newports. I don't care if you're liberal and supported Biden or if you're conservative and supported Trump. I don't care if you're Baptist, Catholic or a practicing Zen Buddhist. Thats not making a band nor making music. I want to make MUSIC! And I'm looking for some good and honest down to earth musicians, who are in it for the love of music and are ready for the world to hear us. If you want to just play in your basement or garage, cant travel and can't do gigs if and when they pop up, that's not what I'm looking for and this may not be for you. I use 2 diff rehearsal spots, one in Dekalb County and one in Midtown/ Buckhead. The material will be music that I have written and also some covers. The music and artists that I study and have learned from, and perhaps are listed below...just for reference. This will be a blues band. From time to time, I want to incorporate soul, southern-soul/stax, jazz, and Americana. But for the main idea, we'll be doing blues. I want us to grow and get on the levels that Eric Clapton, BB King, and the Vaughn Brothers were on...just make good nasty blues!
