I'm a guitarist in my 40s. I have guitars, amps, and recording gear. I'm looking for a drummer who loves heavy music and is open to playing whatever just to get us started. Heavy, rhythmic, melodic, groove-oriented. Here are some bands that I like, but open to other ideas as well. Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Mastadon, Gojira, System of a Down, Dream Theater, Dio, Slayer, Soundgarden, Ozzy, Megadeth. I'd like to practice at least a few times, and then start to look for other players, bass, second guitar, other vocalists, etc.
