Del Mar Vacations A full-service vacation rental property management company Orleans, MA Maintenance Foreman Job Description: The Maintenance Foreman will lead the maintenance team at Del Mar Vacations by ensuring our 200+ homes are well cared for and maintained. The primary skills required include trades-skills, leadership, estimating for proposals, quality inspections, and other foreman-related skills. The leadership required will include a 6-person maintenance team and an 8-person landscaping team, with some additional seasonal or part-time workers as required. Applicant must have strong individual expertise in Plumbing as well as HVAC and appliance repair. Additionally, the applicant will be required to perform basic handyman repairs and typical annual maintenance related items. Confidence in solving issues, presenting well in front of guests and homeowners, and having good oral and written communication skills is very important. Responsibilities and Duties Manage the maintenance team; providing instruction, maximizing team productivity, and ensuring quality results. This role is expected to work as part of the team, and perform skilled work involving plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair as well as electrical, carpentry, and furniture assembly. This individual will assist the scheduler in prioritizing work, allocate work to the team based on the skill level required, provide accurate quoting, and proactively ensure the good working order of the homes in our care. This job also includes management of company equipment and maintenance of the building and grounds. Must have knowledge of basic operations, tools, building maintenance vernacular, and safe work practices. Qualifications and Job Details: - 10-15 years of maintenance experience - High School Diploma - Full time/Year-round - In the Summer months, will work Weekends with some occasional overtime - Compensation: $34-40 Hourly, pay commensurate with skill and experience - Use of Company Truck - Health Insurance - 401K with Employer Matching - the Company matches 100% of all employee 401(k) contributions, up to 3% of their compensation, plus a 50% match of the next 2% of their compensation - 2 Weeks Paid Time Off Why work at Del Mar?
