Description

This position is responsible for helping in the movement of window and door material for customers – location to jobsite. This may include loading, delivering and returning products to and from customer projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Be committed to customer service above all else – lead by example and set a high standard of service for internal and external customers at all times  Help with making sure loads are pulled and ready to be loaded for delivery, also with putting away products within warehouse from vendor deliveries  Assist with receiving of products from vendor deliveries, reconcile what products are being delivered with purchased paperwork, insure organized placement of products within warehouse in proper locations/areas  Responsible for assisting internal/external customers, and helping with yard/warehouse organization and cleanliness  Have a working knowledge of all window products that drivers will deliver and location will receive  Any other tasks as assigned by management Skills Needed:  High school diploma or GED,  Ability to communicate and read English  Be physically fit, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, be forklift certified Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, and hear in a safe manner.  Regularly required to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally required to lift up to 125 lbs  Regularly required to use close vision, distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus). ********************************************************************************************************** Basis for Performance Checkpoints: • Be customer service minded, helpful in all aspects, willing to pitch in and help wherever needed • Document backorders, missing items or picked up items as needed for appropriate location personnel • Be dependable, at work on-time and as scheduled We are a Drug Free Workplace...
