Making Cold Process soap is rewarding, creating something that you use every day and now more than ever we appreciate the value of good soap. Come over and learn how to blend oils and craft soap. We learn all the attributes of soap in this hands-on class. Soap 101 covers the Cold Process method, we will learn about safety, necessary equipment, plant-based oils, additives, and adding fragrance. This workshop combines lecture, demonstration, and a hands-on portion during which we will make a large batch of soap together. Students leave the course with handouts, a supplier list, a bar of handcrafted soap, and a wealth of new knowledge to put to good use at home.
