Join Columbus Gives Back in helping operate the Columbus Early Learning Centers' take-n-bake drive-thru breakfast with the Easter Bunny! What: The Columbus Early Learning Center is putting together a family friendly COVID safe 'take n' bake' drive-thru breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Socially distanced photos will be taken with the Easter Bunny courtesy of NB Creative Solutions. The 'take n' bake' breakfast includes Creme Brulee French Toast and Tater Tot Casserole made by Preston Eatery. Families will be driving through in pre-reserved time slots, and we need you help in welcoming them and getting them through the line in a fun, safe, manner! Where: Preston Eatery at 1093 Bethel Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220. When: Saturday, March 6th from 8:30am - 12:00pm Event Leader(s): [email protected] COVID-19 Precautions: Due to the current stay-at-home advisory in place in Franklin county, Columbus Gives Back is limiting the number/type of events on our calendar through the end of the year. All Columbus Gives Back volunteers are required to wear face masks and observe social distancing as appropriate to complete volunteer tasks. Volunteers who are sick, especially with fever or the growing number of Covid-19 symptoms, should stay home. We highly recommend that our volunteers wash their hands, use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of the event, and/or wear gloves. We will follow whatever safety policy our nonprofit partners have in addition to the safety precautions listed above. Any volunteers determined to neglect these precautions and put other volunteers or the people we serve at risk will be dismissed from the event. In an effort to keep our volunteers, event leaders, and non-profit partners safe we ask that each volunteer or event leader sign up for no more than one event in a seven-day period, in order to limit the number of individuals you come into contact with if you are exposed to Covid-19. If you were exposed before or test positive after having participated in a CGB event, please contact the event leader or reach out to [email protected] so that we can best support contact tracing efforts. About the CELC: The Columbus Early Learning Center has been committed to providing family services and child care services to the Columbus community since 1887! Their programs across Columbus focus on responsive caregiving and intentional teaching for young children from infancy, through toddlerhood and into the preschool years! About Columbus Gives Back: We love Columbus, young professionals, and getting involved! Our mission is to connect young professionals across central Ohio and engage them in our communities through 35-40 social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities per month. #SocialTwist: Social Twists have been suspended until further notice, but typically we will also encourage volunteers to join us afterwards for food and drinks to better get to know the other cool folks in our group! Rather we encourage each of our volunteers to support local business during this time.
