AirSea Packing Group, Inc. Fine Art Services, a fine art shipping, and services company with offices in 8 U.S. cities, is looking for a Full-Time Fine Art Handler/ Driver with a clean driving license to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to drive and securely load a 16’ - 24’ foot box truck and maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements. Experience in handling and packing 2-D and 3-D art objects and antique and high-end furniture for both transportation and storage. Experience and knowledge of installation techniques for offsite installations and reinstallations: knowledge of hardware and tools, strong math skills, and the ability to install flatwork, grids, and three-dimensional works. Knowledge of archival materials, fine art packing techniques, and crating. A clear understanding of fine art inspection, the ability to create accurate and detailed condition reports. Ability to work on I-pad cataloging inventories and processing artwork. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with fine art and antiques in a related industry. Knowledge of art, mediums and the ability to speak about art and contribute thoughts and ideas when appropriate. Ability to perform in fast-paced high-pressure work environments. Successfully execute problem-solving skills, able to work with a team, and independently. Able to safely lift up to 70 pounds. References upon request.
