I am looking for someone LOCAL with knowledge of the trades- carpentry, plumbing, electrical, general building skills who can teach me while helping/leading me in my DIY projects. I have helped with many DIY projects/remodeling and am a hard worker and a good helper. I will be the apprentice, so your pay will include helping me learn while we complete projects together. Some projects I would like to find help with are: Some projects will be updates to my vintage Airstream trailer- RV and boat experience preffered for these projects! Here is some of what I am looking for: building a dinette/bench and table, vinyl plank floors, epoxy paint bathroom fixtures and countertop, make cabinet doors, rebuild kitchen cabinetry, build a hidden shelving insert/bar, build a table to sit on top of propane tanks and other cool and creative trailer upgrades. And many other projects around the house: replace wood entry steps install dishwashers, gas oven gas range help me add handles to kitchen cabinets tile kitchen chimney trim repairs teach me how to cut with miter saw and use other tools that scare me yard work and maintenance tree removal Basically things you would find on a "Honey-Do list" or weekend warrior repairs and upgrades. I will be your helper and student. I am available to do this on weekend and afternoons/evenings. I am thinking about 3 hours per week to help with smaller projects and then the bigger jobs(you do the projects out of my skill set) on a bid. I hope to have help on a regular schedule. Ever week or every 2 weeks. I have that much I want to do! I have tools and will go get materials from a list we make. Please reply with a about your skills, $ hourly rate for weekly 3 hour lessons, and when you have general availability. I will need specific trades such as electrician, carpentry, and plumbing as well as handyman and basic labor projects. Please reply with your specific skills and wage$ so I can contact right person for each project I hoping too hire someone who is willing to teach me, while we work on projects together, so please know that I am not JUST looking for repairs to get done. I want to be part the work too! I prefer to work with someone who uses COVID precaution measures. Thank you!
