Click Here to Apply In this role you will help pave the way for gymnastics programming in our gymnastics center at the newly opened Glen T. Macleod YMCA in Gloucester. Day to day you will lead high-quality programs and services that foster a joy for learning and inspires children to achieve their goals. You will create a fun and safe environment for everyone in the gymnastics center, ensuring age and developmentally appropriate curriculum is carried out and modified based on individual needs. Using your superior interpersonal skills you will develop and foster relationships with parents, members, and guests from all segments of the community providing exceptional customer service and building a population of returning program participants. As we build our new gymnastics program this role has the potential to transition into a full-time position. Classes will be held on weekdays (morning and afternoons) and on Saturdays. To thrive in this role you must have personal or professional gymnastics experience and an understanding of basic gymnastics techniques and equipment. You must be capable of instructing youth on gymnastics skills and be able to physically model and/or spot to support individual learning and growth.
