CLICK HERE TO APPLY As a Camp Nurse you will help ensure the health and safety of participants and staff by providing first aid and care following local licensing regulations and supporting individual medical needs of campers. On a regular day you will distribute medications, maintain medication paperwork, communicate with families and camp director, as well as review and communicate physical and immunization records according to Department of Public Health camp regulations. Additionally, you will tend to injuries that may happen throughout the day and keep accurate records and reports. It will be your responsibility to organize, maintain and utilize adequate resources for serving the health and medical needs of the campers and staff, distributing first aid materials as needed.To thrive in this position you must have the ability to assess medical needs in children and adults, respond appropriately, and have first aid and emergency management experience. You will be the first response for first aid and emergency situations that may occur.
