This name originated with the Algonquin tribes in eastern North America who knew it as a signal to gather the ripening fruit of wild strawberries. An old European name for this Moon is the Honey Moon or the Mead Moon. It has also been called the Full Rose Moon in Europe. Our Full Moon Paddle will take place on the Carmans River. We launch from Carmans River Canoe & Kayak and watch the moon rise while we paddle along the river, after the moon has fully risen we will paddle back under the bright, full moon. This tour takes approximately 2 hours and is a summer time special. Snacks and Beverages are provided Rental equipment is available for the tour and special pricing for those using their own.
