Job Responsibilities: • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested • Oversees custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. • Selects and assigns staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion. • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees, covering sick calls. • Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. • Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained. Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained. • Makes rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas, assigns needed coverage, gives special cleaning instructions and/or assignments, and ascertains compliance with directives. • Conducts inspections and investigates client’s complaints of the building to check for cleanliness and advises subordinates of found conditions and methods of correction. • Determines materials, supplies, and equipment needs; requisitions cleaning supplies and materials, manage the supplies and material in the warehouse. • Inspects equipment for cleanliness and repair and personally makes minor repairs. • Order supplies for all properties • Deliver supplies requested by staff • Ensure company vehicle has gas and in working order • Check on all properties to ensure staff is using products the right way • Check on all properties to ensure cleaning equipment is in working order and maintained • Check with staff on how the job duties are and identify any possible hazards • Check on property for any possible projects that need to be done • Check time sheets of staff to ensure it is filled out right • Ensure staff is in uniform • Check on staff to make sure they are at work • Check with the client to see how the job is. If possible, walk the space with the client • Check with each employee on trash, recycling and compost standards • Set up / prepare for projects / ensure all products and machines are ready for use • Follow up on projects to make sure they are done right / walk are with the client is possible • Once project is done make sure all items are back where they belong in the warehouse • Take lead on new contracted work • Look for possible new employees when available • Look for possible new business or new projects when available • Do complete pass on to Manager via email • Update all cleaning binders • Update all safety training Schedule: Monday - Friday: 5PM- 1:30AM Qualifications: • At least one year of supervisory experience • Bi-lingual preferred.(Spanish and English) To Apply: Please submit your resume via email at [email protected] or "reply" button above.
