Kids will be introduced to the basics of playing the fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo and Surry County Music. Instructor Jim Vipperman will work with participants on basic skills for a variety of instruments. They will also learn about Surry County Music. July 12-15, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Ages 5 and up Instruments will be provided. Historic Earle Theatre, $75 This project is supported in part by Duke Energy, Wells Fargo, Mount Airy ABC Board, Northern Regional Hospital and the NC Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources, with funding from the NEA. Masks are required. Campers will need to bring their own snack and drink for snack time.
