Leak Survey Technician: Responsible for completing outdoor leak survey on designated natural gas systems and inspecting gas meters for leaks and corrosion. This includes walking survey, visual inspection and ensuring all field data is collected and reported accurately. RESPONSIBILITIES Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, production goals and team objectives Accurately detect, locate, and classify gas leaks using prescribed procedures (as trained by the Company) Walk between 3 to 7 miles per day on varying types of terrain to access outdoor worksites in wide-ranging climates and environment; outdoor experience preferred Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on a map Proficient at using current technology; smartphone, tablet QUALIFICATIONS Highly motivated, with a demonstrated strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time Valid Driver's License with safe driving record Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required as a condition of employment COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Paid Training Company vehicle Medical, Dental, Vision, and Short-Term Disability Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance Paid Holidays Personal Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) with Company match Paid Weekly!
