Description

With temperatures in the teens during the morning and staying under the freezing mark, getting a free hot cup of coffee in Glens Falls, New York, couldn't sound sweeter. Yesterday, all day, Centers Health Care, one of the leading families of post-acute care facilities in the Northeast, handed out a free cup of coffee all day at the Stewart's Shop in downtown Glens Falls at 360 Glen Street. Stewart's Dave Brooks is Ready to Hand Out the CoffeePamela Bowe, Adirondacks Community Liaison for Centers Health Care, was on hand greeting people and giving them information about the services Centers Health Care provides to families and their loved ones. "It's great to see how thankful people are in the Glens Falls community, with the smiles on their faces when they came into the store to find out their coffee was free," said Bowe. "Today was priceless and the truth stands that one small act of kindness, such as a free cup of coffee, can make someone's day. This is what we strive for at Centers Health Care, making our community happy and healthy." Bri Holme Creates a Welcoming Coffee Table. It was last summer that Centers Health Care partnered with Stewart's Shops throughout the Capital Region in Albany, Oneonta and Cooperstown giving out free coffee thanking the communities for their hard work with flattening the Covid curve. Now, with positive COVID numbers going down, it was about doing the same thing in the Adirondacks for their help with flattening the curve in order to beat COVID-19. People came in and out throughout the course of the day to get their coffee. Most customers thanked Ms. Bowe, as well as for the information they received regarding both long-term and short-term care.
