Henderson Pet Resort is a locally owned small business. We are a state-of-the-art facility for cats and dogs that offers premium overnight and long term lodging, doggie daycare, pet grooming and training. Primary duties of the Pet Care Counselor include management and safety of daycare dogs within the playgroups as well as the care of lodging animals. Qualified candidates should posses the following skills and achievements: 2 Years previous experience providing animal care preferred A love for dogs and cats Good oral communication skills Previous work experience demonstrating dependability Self-motivated, independent worker Proven ability to follow instructions and learn new things Ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated flexibility and proven coping skills Reading, writing, typing Ability to lift over 25 pounds, standing, bending and operate vacuum cleaners Starting pay $9-$11+tips. This part-time position is between 24-40 hours a week, and may lead to a full-time position. Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
