PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto's new mayor is facing a state fine in connection with campaign disclosure compliance, Palo Alto Weekly reports.
Tom DuBois was fined $402 by the Fair Political Practices Commission according to the report.
He was fined for failing to file 2019 semiannual reports, the report said.
The fine followed a complaint from housing advocate Kelsey Barnes, executive director of the group "Peninsula for Everyone" according to the report
DuBois told Palo Alto Weekly he had moved twice that year and missed reminders to file the reports from the city clerk.
