AURORA, IL — Aurora University officials urged students to leave campus Thursday after discovering a "non-specific" bomb threat. Someone associated with the university received a bomb threat through their email Wednesday night, but the threat was not seen until Thursday morning, after the "threat time" had passed, Aurora police tweeted. Aurora police said they are working with the university's police department to do a precautionary check of the campus Thursday morning. #APDIncident: APD is assisting the @AuroraU Police with a bomb threat that was received via email last night. The email wasn't seen until today and the threat time has elapsed.
