Art Beats the Path Forward: Two-Part Event, Sat. March 20th 11AM-1PM AND Fri. March 26th 6-8PM IT’S BEEN A YEAR, RIGHT? IT’S HARD TO KNOW WHAT’S NEXT, HOW TO MANAGE ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, LIFE STRESS? RHYTHM IS THE ORGANIZER IN MUSIC, SO LET IT HELP YOU PAVE YOUR OWN, UNIQUE WAY. This is a two part/two day workshop commitment* *Part I: Saturday, March 20 11am-1PM. Art Therapy Drum Mandala Painting — Paint your own drum and create a rhythmic design (we’ll show you how and support you with meditation and music too) with Etta Canady, H.O.P.E.’s Art Therapist. We’ll be using Remo ArtBeat drums, they are high quality instruments and have a special head and a completely white shell so that the entire drum is a canvas for you to create your own one-of-a-kind instrument. You will choose which one(s) you’d like and add that to the price of the workshop. We are offering them at a flat cost, we make no profit. *Part II: Friday, March 26, 6-8 PM. Bring your amazing painted drum back to the studio and use it to discover what your personal path forward will look like. Work with AmyLynn Dimaano, Music Therapist, and discover what secrets your internal rhythm might reveal. We’ll talk about managing anxiety, depression and stress using rhythms for a unique approach to managing this thing called life. - $75/person (admission) + the purchase of a drum (see options below)* - Must preregister for this event in order to attend.
