Due to current promotions given and business demands, we are seeking to fill a Leasing Team Member position to augment and support the property operations on the Westside of Town in Hillsboro, OR, and Tigard, OR. The Leasing Team Member markets and leases to potential residents and provides customer service to current residents while encouraging renewals. Responsibilities: The Leasing Team Member tours prospective residents, answers phones and assists in the leasing process including paperwork and renewal activity. Also assists in developing and implementing resident retention and lease renewal programs. This dynamic individual must possess strong sales abilities, phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills. Performs all other duties as directed by the Property Manager, and assists the overall team effort in any way possible. THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE WEEKEND WORK. Qualifications: Minimum of one to two years previous experience in residential property management, sales, or in person customer service. Must have competency in the following: Excellent communication, organizational and coordinating abilities Computer literacy Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook- YARDI software experience preferred Strong sales skills/ability to close a sale Ability to deal well with others Good verbal and written communication skills The ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks concurrently Strong customer service orientation Basic office organizational skills: filing, supplies inventory and ordering, mailing/shipping, office equipment upkeep Telephone, fax, photocopier Ability to understand and clearly explain legal documents Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. In addition, the position requires the ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions. Physical requirements: Ability to lift, push and pull 25-50lbs. Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situation required. Benefits: We offer hourly pay with monthly commissions, room for growth, we match 100% of 401k contributions, offer medical, dental, and vision coverage at a low cost to employee, 40 hours of sick time annually and pay it out if not used, and annual PTO accrual.
