Scrap-It! is looking for someone who knows when to take charge or follow direction. What you’ll be doing as a Junk Removal Specialist: ____________________________________________ Customer Service: AMAZing every customer with a friendly, positive attitude and exceptional service Truck Operations: Safe driving and loading of Scrap-It! trucks with a team member (so a valid standard driver’s license is required) Junk Removal: Heavy and light lifting required for removal of "junk" from residential and commercial client locations (i.e. couches, chairs, appliances, recyclables, debris, yard, and garage junk) Marketing: Enthusiastically advocate for our brand to all you meet and encounter Sales: Providing estimates to customers that call us for quotes to have items removed and educating them on how we safely dispose of, recycle, and/or donate what we can to keep as much out of landfills as possible - because we all need to care about our planet. Safety: Commitment to the safe and professional navigation and driving of trucks and intelligent and efficient loading & unloading of customers’ belongings. Professional & Uniformed: We always wear uniforms and provide you with what you need (shirts, sweaters, coats, hats, gloves) to represent Scrap-It! and make a great impression. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Qualifications & Requirements: You have a great attitude, are reliable, hardworking and have a valid standard driver’s license. You’re 21+ years of age (required for insurance purposes) and have the physical stamina to lift/carry 50 pounds repeatedly. Previous experience in general labor, customer services and/or sales is a plus, but isn’t required - we train happy, hardworking individuals.
