I play for the enjoyment of being creative. I'll be up for performing here and there once the amateur circuit gets back on it's feet (they'll be last, of course), but my goals are to write with compatible people and record. I'm 50, grew up on classic rock radio and eventually followed friends through punk rock/post punk but I'm not really into playing for bombast. I'm more into rhythm, multi-rhythms, funk/groove but then contrasting dynamics.... Sgt Peppers/Soft Parade to Double Nickels on the Dime/Unknown Pleasures. I'm not technically articulate (musically speaking), nor a shredder, my solos are mostly melodic with an occasional noise explosion. I like effects. I'm into making instrumentals, but a decent lyricist would be welcome. Online collaborations, basement jams....
