Established production CNC machine shop in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs area seeking motivated shop assistant. Must have good attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and be able to work on your feet all day with consistent light to moderate lifting. Reliable transportation required and good attendance is mandatory for this position. Hours are m-f 5AM-2:30PM. Duties will include but are not limited to: Light set up and operation of cold saw Light set up and operation of band saws Operation of manual mills and lathes Operation of CNC mills Polishing/Deburring finished parts Cleaning the shop to ensure a safe and productive work environment Providing the machinists with varying assistance Shrink wrapping pallets for safe transportation We will provide the necessary training for your immediate position As time progresses if you desire we can train you to run CNC equipment where time allows.
